Reception is being held earlier than normal for this exhibit!
The Viewpoint Gallery presents the black and white photographs taken by
members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento and printed by members
of the Sacramento Valley Photographic Arts Center.

Exhibit Description
What would happen if you gave cameras to a group of boys and girls whose
photographic experience range from none to some, and, with minimum instruction,
guidance or restrictions, asked them to go out and take pictures of what they
see?

whimsical, and some are, well, just different.

Thanks to the Volunteers Who Helped to Prepare the Exhibit
The current exhibit required a lot of work by a lot of people. For those who
helped out, many thanks from the entire organization. Special thanks goes
to the following:
The staff and participating boys and girls at the Sacramento Boys & Girls Club.
Camera Arts at 712 57th St. in Sacramento, for their assistance in providing the cameras and other material.
The WalMart Corporation for the assistance with the film developing.
Sierra College in Rocklin for the use of their photo lab.
The students in the Sheldon High School Photographic classes and members of the Sacramento Valley Photographic Art Center for doing the printing, spotting, matting, and other preparations of the photographs for the exhibit.

commitment, dedication, and extra work in seeing this special project to its
successful completion!
