from "Coastal Pinholes"
For this series the pinhole camera was placed directly on the sand or rocks along the shore. Once I got started I found the outdoors offered a different view than anything I'd seen before. I gave myself the directive that I would photograph only from where a crab could crawl. I think because of the property of a pinhole, dealing with near and far, only on the ground can you have what's right in front of the camera and also far away.
