Artist's Statement

We move through the day, constantly bombarded by visual stimuli and, as a result, often fail to see the beauty inherent in the ordinary. Photography allows for the capture of a moment, separate from all other visual distractions. I strive to create an environment in which the viewer sees the commonplace as something special.

Artist's Bio

My interest in photography began in college, where I spent time developing black and white film and printing images. Three years ago, I began taking only digital images and have concentrated on cityscapes and landscapes, all in color. I print all of my images personally on an Epson 2200 after working on them in Adobe Photoshop CS2, primarily for contrast, sharpness and color balance. All of my current images were captured with a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II.
