Artist's Bio I was born and raised in East Sacramento, California. After graduating from high school, I attended Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. There I received a Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art. My love of photography began when my father bought me a 110 camera back when I was 9 years old and I have been photographing since. I have taken many photography courses over the years, watching the industry go from film to digital. Currently, all of my photography is digital because of the ease and ability to carry my small Cannon Elf anywhere. I have yet to find a digital equivalent to watching that perfect image slowly come up in the developer tray. In 2000 and also in 2001, I lived in The Hague, Netherlands and enjoyed the close proximity to the rest of Europe. I have traveled to most European countries taking many photos along the way. I am now back living in East Sacramento. After all my travels, there are many things I can appreciate here in Sacramento. Many of my recent photographs showcase the beauty of Sacramento. It has taken years of traveling abroad to open my eyes to the wonders of Sacramento that I used to take for granted. |
