John Swain

John Swain has been a commercial photographer in Sacramento, California for 18 years. He holds a doctoral degree in education and has completed five successful travel books for Chronicle Books in San Francisco.
He was a recipient of a design award of excellence in New York's prestigious Photo District News' 1996 Annual Digital Photo Contest. His work has been selected for the Crocker-Kingsley show, the Graphis Digital Photo I Annual (1998), the Annual New Mexico exhibit and catalog (2001) and numerous gallery exhibitions.
He has also enabled his clients to receive many design awards over the years; including Gold Nugget, MAME, ASID, CEFPI, Modern HealthCare and others.
John loves drawing, painting, digital illustration, tennis and the opportunity to share in the creative process with others. He currently resides in a restored 1898 Victorian with his significant other, Regina, and two overfed dogs, Princess and Budo.
