Pinhole
Photography Workshop
September 15, 2001
1:00 - 5:00 PM
Sierra College
The pinhole photography workshop was a fun and successful introduction to a very popular alternative photographic process. Rebecca Gregg and Donna Allen were excellent instructors to this intriguing artistic technique.
Using almost any light tight container including rectangular or round tins, oatmeal boxes, film cans, or beautifully constructed wooden pinhole cameras, the students were able to expose and develop their pinhole "paper negatives". The construction and calculations needed to create a "pinhole lens" were also performed by the students. Many thanks to Rebecca Gregg for allowing the use of the Sierra College facilities for this workshop!
